Set up and Take Down

You may begin set up at 8:30 AM on the day of the event. We request that take down is completed by 3 PM. The Library will provide one table (60 " x 30") and two chairs for each artisan. You may also bring your own display items but keep in mind that space is limited.

Product Sales

You are welcome to sell your products at this event. All sales must be handled by the artisan. The Library cannot facilitate sales.

If selling food, vendors must apply for a Cottage Food Vendor Permit through the Cook County Health Department. This permit must be on display throughout the event.

Insurance

All vendors are responsible for having product liability and/or any other form of applicable insurance coverage. The River Forest Public Library does not provide insurance. Any needed insurance must be provided and paid by the vendor.

Indemnification and Hold Harmless Agreement

The undersigned, for himself or herself, and if applicable, for the person or business on behalf of whom this application is submitted, “the Applicant,” hereby agrees to indemnify the River Forest Public Library and its officers, agents, employees and assigns, and to hold them harmless, from any liability occurrence, including injuries, deaths, loss, damages, claims, suits, liabilities, judgments, costs and expenses, including the payment of attorney’s fees, arising out of the use of the premises pursuant to this application, and any liability for any contractual or quais-contractual obligations to third parties in connections with any related activity, event, use or occurrence.

Waiver

I understand that participation in the Artisan Fair involves inherent risks, including but not limited to property damage, theft, injury, or loss. By the submittal of this application I voluntarily assume all risks of injury and loss associated with my participation.

Submission of this application does not confirm your participation in the event. A representative from the River Forest Public Library will contact you once your application has been reviewed and accepted.
