DESCRIPTION:Join library staff and Therapaws and read to a dog! This exerc
 ise allows emerging readers to get comfortable practicing with the best li
 stener around, a dog! Four 15 minute time slots are available. Registrants
  will be assigned a time slot in the order in which they register, beginni
 ng at 6PM and ending at 6:45PM. Library staff will email your time slot wi
 thin 24 hours of registration. This event is for children who are able to 
 read. Please do not register children not yet reading. Caregivers are aske
 d to remain in the library, but not in the room. One on one interaction wi
 th the dog is ideal for kids to feel comfortable, and Therapaws staff and 
 library staff will be present. This event is for children who are comforta
 ble with dogs. For readers grades K-4. Registration is required. Please ca
