The “L” has been running 24/7 for 126 years and its ridership continues to increase. See how it came to be and how it changed the region. Lavishly illustrated with more than 100 images and popular movie clips, Borzo’s rich historical presentation will inform, entertain, and spark memories. Travel through time. Join Steve Cooper as he introduces rare film and video clips with fascinating behind the scenes stories. Enjoy original theme songs and opening clips from the Patty Duke Show, I Dream of Jeanie, Bewitched, My Three Sons, and more. Rare video clips from the 1960’s include: The Beatles at Shea Stadium LIVE, Hullabaloo & Shindig, The Young Rascals, a very young Barbra Streisand, Peter, Paul & Mary, and many more. Steve will also play some TV themes on his trumpet and will take audience requests! Brought to you in partnership with River Forest Township.
