Welcome Brian Wolowitz, Adult and Teen Services Librarian

The Library is excited to announce that Brian Wolowitz has joined us as our new Adult and Teen Services Librarian.

Brian has been working in libraries for almost 10 years, most recently at Addison Public Library as a Collection Development Specialist. He has a BA in English from DePaul University and a Masters in Library Services from Dominican University.

An avid reader, Brian especially enjoys literary fiction that is witty and humorous. He recently read and recommends The Organs of Sense by Adam Ehrlich Sachs. He is also a frequent moviegoer and can often be found at the city’s arthouse film venues like the Music Box and the Gene Siskel Film Center. Ask him for a movie recommendation!

Brian will be coordinating adult programming, and managing the fiction, mystery, Lucky Day, and large print collections. You will most often find Brian at the upstairs service desk. Please join us in welcoming Brian to the Library.
