Community Partnerships Enhance Library Offerings

We continue to use community partnerships as a way to enhance our offerings and expand our reach. The Halloween Hoot n’ Howl event on October 11, held at Trailside Museum, is a collaboration between the museum, The River Forest Park District and the Library. On October 13, Rare Bird Preserves is opening up their space to do a jam tasting and demo and Creativita will be hosting a painting event for teens on October 20. We also have regular story times at Fresh Thyme Farmers Market. Stay tuned for more off site events in the future.
On October 12 (10 AM-2 PM), come to the Fire Department Open House and see the Department’s newest Fire Engine 213! Visit us to sign-up for a library card sign, learn more about the library, and get free stuff. Located at 400 Park Avenue in River Forest.
Many thanks to all of our business partners who had special offers for River Forest Public Library cardholders during September. We hope everyone had a chance to take advantage of these generous offerings.
