The redesigned 2018 federal 1040 form and instruction booklet have arrived and are out for the taking in the income tax forms area on the second floor of the library.
Please note: As a result of a major tax law overhaul, there no longer is a federal 1040A form nor a 1040EZ form. The 2018 federal 1040 form is part of a booklet, which also contains:
- Schedule 1 – Additional Income and Adjustments to Income
- Schedule 2 – Tax
- Schedule 3 – Nonrefundable Credits
- Schedule 4 – Other Taxes
- Schedule 5 – Other Payments and Refundable Credits
- Schedule 6 – Foreign Address and Third Party Designee
Other federal forms remain on order, including the 1099-MISCELLANEOUS.
