This winter marks the 15th anniversary of Donuts for Dads. Held on Saturday mornings from January 14-March 11, this program provides fun bonding time for families during the cold winter months. Children and their caregivers (mostly, but not exclusively, dads) enjoy donuts, other breakfast treats, juice, and coffee while playing games, doing crafts, and listening to story time by the upstairs fireplace. This program gives parents a fun way to interact with their kids, and an opportunity to meet other adults in the community. It also encourages families to spend time together exploring what the library has to offer. Some of the biggest circulation days of the year are Donuts for Dads days, when families check out a wealth of books and movies for everyone in the family. If you have young children in your lives, we encourage you to check out Donuts for Dads this winter.
