Minutes of the Committee of the Whole Meeting-Capital Improvements
December 1, 2006
6:00 PM—7:10PM 

Call to Order
Ms. Fischer called the meeting to order at 6:00PM. Ms. Bussey recorded the minutes. Present were Mr. Soffer, Ms. Ryan, Ms. Daly and Ms. Fischer. Excused were Mr. Coe and Mrs. Cusack.

Audience to Visitors, Trustee and Staff Comments
There were no visitor’s comments.

New Business
       The design team from Holabird & Root consisting of Maria Segal, Rusty    
        Walker and Eric Kuntz presented their different design approaches that  
        were developed while working with a small group of six after 
        having spent the day discussing the spatial micro issues of each        
        department, the spatial macro issues of the entire facility and an 
        evaluation of best practices at retail book stores. 
            
   Executive Session. 
None requested.
            
    Adjournment 
Ms. Ryan made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Ms. Daly seconded. Ms. Fischer adjourned the meeting at 7:10PM.
